The following Privacy Policy details how LAB4 Ltd collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal data when you access the services provided by TraderUI (the “Services”). Including the website traderui.com (the “Website”) and the TraderUI application, app.traderui.com (the “Application”). If you do not agree with this privacy policy then do not use any of the TraderUI Services.

1. Who We Are (Controller)

All TraderUI Services are provided by LAB4 Ltd. LAB4 Ltd is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Account creation information: your name, your email address, your date of birth, your password or an authentication token if you sign up through a third party.
  • Optional insight data: when you create an account you will have the option to declare what assets you trade and why you want to use the Services.
  • Agreements: we collect and store your agreement to the following statement and policies when signing up to the Services:
    • Being at least 18 years old for minimum age verification;
    • The Terms of Service;
    • The Privacy Policy;
    • All disclaimers.
  • Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan we collect billing information including your billing address, country, postal code, tax information where applicable, and card details. The collection happens through our payment processor's checkout, which presents the payment form on our behalf. We do not store your full card details. After purchase, we hold limited transaction information such as subscription status, plan type, billing period, last four digits of your card number, and transaction identifiers, which we use to manage your account and meet our accounting obligations. See Section 5 for more on how the payment processor handles this data.
  • User Content: information you submit when requesting an account to be monitored including the account details and reasons or rationale for monitoring. This may include indirect information about your trading views, the assets you trade or positions you have taken.
  • Communications: messages you send to us (e.g., support requests, feedback) and any information you include in them.

2.2 Information We May Collect Automatically When You Access the Services

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages/screens viewed, actions taken, timestamps, referral URLs.
  • Log and security data: log and security data: login events, authentication events and other activity logs that help us keep the Service secure.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 7.

2.3 Information Created When You Use the Services

  • User preferences and settings: details of accounts monitored and preference configurations.
  • Usage statistics: including number of accounts monitored and duration of monitoring to help us ensure the system is being used fairly.
  • Interaction data: how you engage with content and features (e.g., viewed items, alerts responded to and ignored) and any material you save (e.g., copy and paste commands, screenshots).

2.4 Sensitive Data

We do not need to collect "special category" data (as defined under Article 9 in UK/EU GDPR). We will never ask you to submit sensitive information to us and request that you do not share any information with us that we do not directly request. If you do send any special category data we will delete it.

3. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal data to:

  • Provide and operate the Services (account creation, authentication, user support).
  • Personalise the Service for relevance (for example, suggesting accounts you may wish to monitor based on insight data shared by you and other users at account creation stage and during the new account monitoring request process).
  • Manage subscriptions and confirm payment status with our payment processor.
  • Communicate with you about the Services (e.g., support).
  • Inform you about other LAB4 Ltd products and services which we think you might be interested in.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Monitor performance, debug issues and improve features and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where UK/EU GDPR applies, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the Services and fulfil our contract with you (e.g., account access, subscription management).
  • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Services, prevent abuse and understand usage (balanced against your rights).
  • Consent: where required (for example, certain cookies or analytics depending on your settings and local laws).
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, accounting rules, and lawful requests.

5. How We Share Personal Data

We only share personal data needed to provide the Services.

5.1 Payment Processing

We share personal data with our payment processor (“Payment Processor”). We enlist the services of payment processor to securely collect payment details at checkout and processes payments on our behalf.

When you make a purchase, the Payment Processor collects and processes the billing information described in Section 2 above acting on our behalf.

Where the Payment Processor acts as an independent controller, its processing of your data is governed by their privacy policy which will be disclosed during the payment process. 5.2 Legal and Safety

We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful request, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety and security, investigate fraud, or enforce our Terms.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Automated and AI-generated Outputs

The Services use automated systems, including artificial intelligence (AI) models, to read and summarise third-party content. These outputs are processed by AI model providers. No personal data is shared with AI model providers.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services and understand how it is used.

7.1 Types of Cookies

The cookies and similar technologies we use may include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Services to function (e.g., login, security).

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • Provide the Services (while your account is active).
  • Meet legal, accounting and compliance obligations.
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

9.1 Account Deletion

You can cancel your subscription at any time in the Application, after which your account will be deleted. If you cannot access the Application you can ask us to cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]

We delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days after account deletion, subject to any legal or operational requirements (for example, security logs, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or records we must keep for compliance).

10. Security

We implement industry standard administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach we will inform you immediately and follow best practice guidelines as laid out by the UK Information Commissioners Office.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • Access: request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data (subject to legal and operational limits).

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. If we use third-party analytics that could be considered "sharing" under certain US laws (for example, for cross-context behavioural advertising), we will provide appropriate controls where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, via the Website, Services, or by email).

Your continued use of the systems means you agree to the privacy policy in place at the time of accessing the systems. If you do not agree with the privacy policy then you must cancel your subscription and we will delete your account.
